Cast

I’m in the doctors office waiting to get the cast taken off my hand. I’m thinking about how hard it’s been for me to function with my right hand out of commission. Yet all I did was sprain my thumb. I kinda want to pull myself aside and tell myself to suck it up. We can be such complainers can’t we? Sore thumbs and all, let’s agree to suck it up for the sake of those who have so much less yet never complain.
